Found in the quiet hameau of Les Arnoulats, a 10 minute walk from the centre of the village of Puivert,

Steve and Jo welcome you to L'Occitania chambre d'hotes.  It is placed very close to the Sentier Cathare and GR7 routes so we are well equipped to host hikers, cyclists and other visitors. 

 

We offer a unique place to rest and eat wholesome home-cooked food. Set amidst the foothills of the Pyrennees, surrounded by oak and pine woodlands, the house itself is at least 200 years old.  A former boulangerie and water source to the hameau, L'occitania has been renovated to provide a very comfortable stay, whilst keeping the spirit of the old house. With a beautiful garden of flowers, herbs and climbing plants, it's a special place to stay in the heart of the Pyrenees Audoises. 

 

In Puivert you will find restaurants, a shop, a bar, a swimming and fishing lake, the Chateau de Puivert, Musee de Quercorb as well as routes along the Sentier Cathare and Grande Randonees.  On Wednesdays throughout July and August you can visit the popular lakeside Night Market for food, live music and company.

We can host up to 7 people, offering a choice of two double bedrooms and one triple, a delicious French breakfast and the option of a 3 course evening meal - table d'hotes.

Randoneurs can book a bag drop-off service for their next stop.  Cycle storage and drying space is provided.

Taxi service available (enquire for tariffs).

 

Please note that we have a dog 'Bella' (very friendly and gentle) and a cat 'Archie' so we are unable to take dogs.
